3 nerds go to a motel to rent a room. The clerk behind the desk said the room will cost $30 bucks.
So each nerd paid $10 bucks each and went to the room to relax.
A little while later the clerk realized that the room was suppose to cost only $25 bucks, so he sends the bellboy back to the 3 nerds room with their $5 change.
On the way to the room, the bellboy couldn't figure out how to split the $5 bucks between the 3 nerds so he just gave each nerd a $1 each and he kept the other extra $2 bucks for himself.
So the 3 nerds only ended up paying $9 each for the room since they each got a dollar refund.
3 x 9 = $27 bucks + the $2 bucks that the bellboy kept = $29 bucks.
We started with $30 bucks...
SO WHERE DID THE OTHER DOLLAR GO?????

probably wrong... you cant add 27 with 2 ... its not right equation..
its 25 bucks (the money they suposed to pay) .. 5 bucks (thier change).. 25+5 is 30 bucks.. now the man give them 3 bucks ... so the right equation is 25bucks+3bucks +2bucks.. its 30bucks

true they paid 9 each 25 as rent & 2 kept by the bell boy 25+2=27
no see they never had $25 they had $30 they never got the $5 back to make it down to $25. order of operations. they paid $30 and got back 3 equally $27 so it makes sense u just gotta ignore the 25 cuz they never spent 25 they spent 30.
it's a trick onwards that leads us to believe the answer is 30 and has we add the number when we should be subtracting as follows: 3X9=27 then minus 2 = 25
